Alto Press is a Germany-based emerging international photo agency specializing in visual narratives and stories.
Founded in 2020 by a group of young, dedicated photographers and photojournalists, Alto Press has painstakingly carved its path to become one of the world’s most promising photo agencies. Driven by passion for visual storytelling, we aim to tell stores in a way that our readers and clients find authentic, out-of-the-box, and relevant.
To achieve this, our team works to stay close to the action - going inside the stories. We capture the pulsating emotion of concerts, document the shifting political landscapes and geopolitics, and cover multiple important business events, industry expos, and corporate gatherings.
Our photographers and photojournalists bring extensive experience, having honed their craft over years of professional and commercial work. We have photographed several international politicians, chancellors and presidents: Angela Merkel, Olaf Scholz, Friedrich Merz, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, Karl Nehammer, Donald Trump and Mark Rutte as well as CEOs of international corporations: Oliver Blume (Volkswagen), Roland Busch (Siemens), Wang Chuanfu (BYD), and He Xiaopeng (Xpeng). We have also published various international reportages, e.g., on the climate movement, queer rights, and from Ukraine.
Our photographers and photojournalists are well-rounded professionals, equipped with the skills and tools for any assignment. On our services-site, we have a curated collections of photographs that showcase each photographer’s expertise and mastery of the craft. We are open to discussing project assignments, commercial work, documentary photography project, as well as individual archive photos or series.
